yo ho…its raining

I sat in the gloom ,drenched in sweat

In the furnace like room,cursing the heat

When all of a sudden,I felt something change

There was something different, something quite strange

I heard some rumbling,my ears straining

My eyes dilated with joy.....yo ho! its raining

And there it was,pouring in full glory

Transforming everything into a fantasy story

                                                                    

For my weary eyes it was a rare treat

I couldn't resist myself and came down in the streeet

Oh how good it felt,to be wet to the bone

With all concerns,all complaints…..getting washed on

I felt lighted,delighted…singing a song

I stood in the shower,I don’t know how long

The downpour stopped, though I wished it wud never subside

I thanked nature for my heart, for such a wonderful ride
