I shall rise again

from where I stand

the horizon might seem far

I might have to look hard

for that guiding star

may at the present

the proceedings be slow

my luck might be down

the times might be low

it might be hard to see ahead

the night might be dark

I might have to walk long

to find that single spark

but do not fear my dear

from the midst of ashes

I’ll dig my feet and fight

i’ll force the sun to come out

to enlighten the path with light

l’ll climb every cliff

I’ll walk through the gloom

I’ll emerge out of all odds

I’ll make victory my own

I’ll put behind the dusk

and move towards the dawn
